That's not what will happen.....................you'll have to wait longer to get it....:auiqs.jpg:

Your fault for growing up in an era of longevity......you can collect when you're 75..........

You need to keep working to cover my socialism.

Laughing all the way to the bank.
There's one thing I don't want to count on, but I will probably get. Half my dad's money. But you never know. I see his sister here in Florida is starting to lose it. If my uncle has to put her in a home, she and my dad are the kinds of people who live forever. Bat shit crazy in a home that costs $6K a month.

Anyways, my dad is still healthy and taking care of himself. His bills are less than he makes on ss and interest on his investments. AND his hobby is collecting cans. He goes to parks and places where people drink beer and he makes maybe $100 a week. It keeps him active and he likes making money, not spending money. I am lucky. He could be out spending his fortune but without my mom, he doesn't want to do ANYTHING. So for now, that money is safe. Probably $400K for me someday if a senior citizen home doesn't get it first.

I don't count on it, but man will that be great one day. Just like that to have an extra $400K. Man that would be great huh? My aunt died years ago and I saw my cousins buying a lot of shit they would have never purchased without her money. Then their dad died recently and they're trying to sell his stuff off.

The only thing I will buy is a condo in Florida. I really love this place. 83 degrees and sunny every day? I would live here Jan 1 to April 1. 3 months.

DOGE is rumored to be finding fraud in Medicare and hopefully Social Security.

That has to help keep them from going insolvent in 2025.

You never hear Trump say anything about fixing entitlements.

I'm 54. I don't think they'll raise my retirement age.
They've been trying for several decades.

The plan is to raise it and the 62 option.

SS is slated to go insolvent in 10 or so years. All us boomers aren't paying into it much anymore..... between that and the millennial/Gen x work attitudes, 'Boy, you inna heap a trouble'.

According to the 2024 Trustees' Report, Social Security's trust fund reserves are projected to be depleted in 2035. However, there is an 80% probability that the reserves will be depleted between 2033 and 2039.

What's causing Social Security insolvency?

  • The fund is running a deficit.
  • The fund isn't being refilled fast enough.
  • The fund's income isn't keeping up with expenditures.
Medicare is in the same boat.

Not to piss in your Wheaties, but at the moment, the whole world is teetering on a global depression.....at about the same time. I got a pretty good idea all your money 😍😍😍will probably shit the bed, Bigly.

Trump may be your only savior..............🙏

Have a nice evening.

Social Securioty is not an entitlement.
Think so?

Entitlement Programs

Entitlement Programs of the federal government include Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, Unemployment Insurance, and welfare programs. Entitlement programs are rights granted to citizens and certain non-citizens by federal law. The programs are either contributory or non-contributory. Non-contributory means the program benefits are available to participants regardless of whether they have contributed to the program.

Welfare programs such as SNAP (food stamps) or Pell Grants are examples of non-contributory programs. Participants receive benefits even though they have never made contributions to the program. The Social Security Retirement Program is an example of a contributory program. The program gets payroll taxes during a person’s working years and pays benefits in retirement.

You must have missed the congressmen saying that agencies like USAID ignored congressional oversight, and never responded to their inquiries. They thought that they had independence to act as they saw fit to do.

Trump is putting all of those out of control agencies under the direct control of the Executive Branch, as they should be.
Oh silly one, if what you said is true, then it is Congress who then votes to change it, and shutter them, NOT the Executive.

How can you not know this?

Executive has the final say on what goes on in the executive branch.

Congress comes after the facts are known.

Not sure if you noticed....but the reason the Dems lost here and now we find out they've been doing the same thing with the rest of the world with our tax dollars.

God bless 🙏 Trump.

1. What I say is true, and I even post links proving it. If I ever misspeak, I thank the poster for the correction.

2. USAID was created by JFK's Executive Order. Congress appropriates funding, but the executive allocates funding based on strategic priorities. There are no congressional line items specified for USAID. Which is why Trump put USAID under Marco.

Congress passed the Foreign Assistance Act on September 4, 1961, which reorganized U.S. foreign assistance programs and mandated the creation of an agency to administer economic aid. The goal of this agency was to counter Soviet Union influence during the Cold War and to advance US soft power through socioeconomic development.[14][15] USAID was subsequently established by the executive order of President John F. Kennedy, who sought to unite several existing foreign assistance organizations and programs under one agency

SCOTUS is most likely to rule that POTUS cannot be exclusive in reorganzing USAID, that POTUS must consult with the legislative power.

Nope! Congress creates laws, and legislation, and funds them first. Of the people, by the people, for the people, under our constitution, not the executive.
Trump is the head of the federal government, period.

Section 1 of Article Two establishes the positions of the President and the Vice President, and sets the term of both offices at four years. Section 1's Vesting Clause declares that the executive power of the federal government is vested in the President and, along with the Vesting Clauses of Article One and Article Three, establishes the separation of powers among the three branches of government.

Trump is the executive branch of the US government, one of three branches held in check by the other two.

There is authority to reorganize with limited congressional involvement. Clinton and Obama did similar actions.

Agreed. The destroyer of the deep state. And they absolutely need to be destroyed.

And congress funded usaid....then congress should unfund it.

Under the purview of the Executive branch. You can't just ignore the COTUS at will, no matter how badly you want to.
