I'm 54. I don't think they'll raise my retirement age. So I'll be right there laughing at the younger people when he does it to them. I'll say ha ha I told you so. You should have voted for Kamala. Now you have to work till you are 70 dumb ass"

He might raise FULL retirement age on me to 70, but I'll still be able to retire at 62 I'm pretty sure. I'm going to retire at 62 no matter what. Even if SS is tiny. Why? Because my nephews voted for Trump. I am no longer worried about leaving them anything. They'll probably get $5 million each if not more plus all the properties when their parents die. And if my brother and his wife live to 95, the kids will be 65. Perfect. Right on time to retire. So they don't need what I have. I wanted to live off the interest but now I think I'll just take $1 million and divide it by 20 years and just live off that. Rather than live off the interest plus my social security.

Although, if I divide $1 million by 20 years, that puts me at 82. No way I live that long. But let's say I do. That's $50K a year plus whatever I get from social security.

If I live off the interest on $1 million, at 5%, it's the same amount. $50K a year.

So no. I won't spend all my money up. I'll just live off the interest. Whatever I get for social security will pay for Dr. Oz's shitty alternative to medicare.
