Joe Biden is doing great things for our country. The previous guy is on record bragging about avoiding taxes. Do you think he would have ever supported anything like this?

The IRS has collected $1 billion in back taxes from high-wealth tax cheats — a milestone meant to showcase how the agency is making use of the money it received as part of the Biden administration’s signature climate, health care and tax package

This flies in the face of the republican fearmongering that additional IRS funding would lead to the common man facing harassment and audits.

How much did he collect from the other 95%+? Did everyone pay their fair share, or do we still have nearly 50% of income earners paying little to no income taxes?

Cool deflection, bro.

You should start your own thread on it.
What's cool is over-taxing the rich, which won't produce long-term benefits. Go Joe! Meanwhile .. Joe and Democrats consistently talk about "paying their fair share" while nearly a majority of income earners do not.

Nobody wants to pay taxes. Federal bureaucracies pick on the easy targets first and that's middle class folks who don't have high powered tax lawyers. Be careful what you wish for because they will come knocking on your door next.

It's actually more than 50%... If you count illegal aliens who are on the receiving end of state and federal benefits it's closer to 60%. This is why a general consumption tax is the only way to go forward. The revenue would most likely triple.

Which would probably fund the government for a total of about 1/2 an hour or so.

And how much did they spend getting that back?

Oh, good. More money for the government:
