Underground facilities/structures require means for the people working in them to enter and exit. Also those people will need air*, water**, food, (TP)~equipment to also get in and out.

Destroy and cave in all the "doors", vents, plumbing enter/exit pipes, etc. - AND the facility is now useless. Until excavated damage and new openings made. Meanwhile that facility/structure has become a tomb, and personnel inside might not survive long enough for their rescue.

* Usually requires vents to the surface for exchange of fresh air and used air.
** Usually will require piping to bring in fresh water and take out 'sewage'. Self-contained~recycle systems still need occasional recharge and flushing.

What they wanted to destroy was underground. All the centrifuges were in the mountain and are more than likely destroyed.
