As long as Iran continues to carry on a fifty year cold war in which they have pledged to destroy Israel and the US then theIt's not our problem.

US has more than just a passing interest in regime change in Iran.
The psycho fundamentalists must go and Iran must be placed in the hands of moderates. The Saudis, the Israelis and the US all have common interests here.
