Iowa swings 11 points to Kamala? Huh?

Because it means jobs. For Americas

Why does mass deportation crush us?

You don't think there was been resistance to higher prices? Really?
It'll take years to build up manufacturing in the USA, to replace foreign manufacturing...jobs won't be here for quite a while if much at all for many industries, all the while we pay the higher tariff included in our retail prices, and at our lower wage jobs we hold for a few more years.

And, since our labor cost is so much higher or with higher costs of benefits and employer payroll tax match of theirs, they will likely move to automation, to save money...or A/I.....

It's gonna be tricky to get them back here making goods, and sadly, for most goods, that will be automation imo.
---------
Mass deportation takes millions of consumers and workers out of the marketplace....people to buy the goods, and sell the goods and stock the goods and deliver the goods and provide services to others as well, will all need replacing by employers, causing a major disruption... Businesses all around will be left empty handed and have to find people to do the jobs of these workers, likely with an employee shortage where wages will have to rise to get people to work, if they can find them at all.... causing inflation, and a major drop in gross domestic product, making our debt to GDP ratio even higher and more unsustainable.... Economists estimate our GDP could be 7% points lower with mass deportation and that also means we take in much less in income taxes, to pay the bills.......

-------------

Not enough resistance to lower the prices...they are still making higher profits, even with slower unit sales, because the higher retail compensates their unit sales loss with higher retail sales dollars.

Basically, retail prices stay high, even if their costs have been reduced, unless the businesses are not making a profit.... the goal is to make as much profit as possible.... If sales slow so much with a higher retail, then the retailer has to take markdowns to stir sales... But if you are selling enough at the higher retail and still making a Profit, there is no need to lower the retail price.

ANd how long do you think it's going to take Harris to build 3,000,000 new homes?

I don't know, I think the economy was doing pretty well before Harris let 20,000,000 illegal in. Why do you believe it will crater if we send them back?

If energy prices are reduced, prices will be reduced. Unless you believe there is some sort of antitrust collusion amoung retailers.

It's likely a 10 year plan/project....
Is this only homes and no condos or apartments? I dunno?

------------------

The part you are missing is the Economy is on fire! The envy of the world.... Every measure, better under Biden than in 2019 under trump....and better than all of our EU allies. Your news has done a real brainwashing on you!

The world-wide COVID pandemic Inflation was and is still higher in all of our Ally friendly countries than what we went through here in the USA, as horrible as it was here. You mistakenly blame Biden for what was inevitably a world wide COVID supply side issue, both in workers and goods. Biden (the Fed) got inflation back to normal of around 2%-2.5% in a record fast time of around two years. When I went through the Carter/Reagan inflation it took almost 10 years of suffering to bring it down to normal....my first home mortgage for a condo was at 13.5% interest rate!

If Trump had not lost in 2020, he too would have had the same inflation this country went through and likely not smart enough in this economic area to know how to bring it down as quickly.

The immigrants... legal and illegal over the past 30 years haven't made a dent in the workers we need. And yes, added needed people, add to the economy of Americans...we need it to be LEGAL, and better balanced from other countries around the world, but we need people/workers to replace the boomers as they kick the bucket....

-----------

Energy costs can never reduce our inflationary problems enough.... And energy prices are dropping already under Biden. Labor costs and supply shortages cause the most of inflation.

What I am saying is that oil prices go up and down all the time, retailers are not out there swinging their prices on products they sell to us, up and down whenever our gas goes up and down, which is damn near every week or day!

And whole sellers aren't out there changing their prices for retailers because energy is fluctuating. They will price in the cost of the High energy price once a season, usually over what it is running if it seems volatile, and if energy drops drastically in price, they don't go and change the price of their product to reflect the drop, they pocket the profit from the lower energy cost for the rest of the season.

Long winded DEFEATISM

Oh dear....................

Donald Trump leads Kamala Harris by 12.6 points. AP estimates elections officials have counted about 81% of the vote, which means
Harris needs to beat Trump by
about 52 points
in the ballots left to be counted to catch up and take the lead.

It bears repeating.

If you believed this poll, you are a truly stupid MFer.

You need to go back to the drawing board and figure out how to not be such a useful moron moving forward.

TIME TO RECALIBRATE. YOUR COMPASS IS OFF.

WAKE THE FUCK UP.
