Have you ever invested in films or shows ?

I got this today which I think I will pass on. But it did get me thinking. Been averse to this since The Producers but I can see how it works.

Depends on if its a big hit or not. The folks who invested money in the making of the classic film Deep Throat are said to have made a fortune.

Budget against profit on that was amazing.

Used to get these all the time in the 90s.They would set up a company just to make the film. They would offer a load of extras like tickets to the Premiere and appearing as an extra as inducements. They were marketed as tax dodgers.
Ive already binned this one. I asked for a prospectus not a phone call.
