Welcome. Thanks for sharing. I think some people would be more interested to know about your political ideologies though, considering this is a political forum.

I would describe myself as independent, but I live in a truly liberal area, where there is very clearly a range of acceptable political disagreements within which mine obviously do not fall. Some examples off of the top of my head, federal government land ownership, whether every department of government should be obligated to provide a generous jobs program (with above market benefits) in addition to its primary purpose, etc.
