Twice a year - in the Spring and the Fall, after having saved up about 1000 rounds of ammo - Me and my cousin shoot our Glocks.
We shoot a single silhouette, we shoot two silhouettes - two in the front and one in the front and at 120 degrees to the right. We rapid fire and we double tap. We do a hostage silhouette......where we actually talk to the gunman ( which is actually a piece of paper ).
We shoot at distance, at about 85 yards or so, to simulate a gunman in a parking lot with an assault rifle.
And we do a night fire. With and without a flashlight.
Researching long range shooting, and I found some videos I thought I would share.
Unbelievable - a .45 1911 at 230 yards
1911 - .45 at 200 yards
Glock 20 - 10mm at 250 Meters
Glock 27 - Subcompact .40 caliber at 230 yards
Glock and Ruger LCP at 100 yards. ( LCP is at 2:36 in the video )
Point in fact folks, don't underestimate a bad guy ( Jeff Cooper called them "Goblins") in a confrontation with handguns.
