Military brass sound alarm about 'insidious decline' in readiness
How is it that we spend more money than all our allies combined and in excess of 40% of world military spending, and yet we are at the lowest readiness in so many years? Why do we need to spend more than 600B on military expenditure? Russia spends like 75B. Germany spends like 36B. Saudi Arabia spends like 80B. Why are we less ready than countries than spend a fraction of what we do?
Where's all this money going? why do they want billions of more dollars that they are obviously squandering?
If you have that much money and yet military readiness is in an 'insidious' decline, then perhaps you should lose your job to someone who can competently manage such a massive budget.
