A new report on Sunday highlighted concerns from top economists about the impacts of Democrat President Joe Biden’s massive government spending.

“Americans should brace themselves for several years of higher inflation than they’ve seen in decades, according to economists who expect the robust post-pandemic economic recovery to fuel brisk price increases for a while”.
"Respondents on average now expect a widely followed measure of inflation, which excludes volatile food and energy components, to be up 3.2% in the fourth quarter of 2021 from a year before. They forecast the annual rise to recede to slightly less than 2.3% a year in 2022 and 2023. That would mean an average annual increase of 2.58% from 2021 through 2023, putting inflation at levels last seen in 1993.”
  • Joel Naroff, chief economist at Naroff Economics LLC: “We’re in a transitional phase right now. We are transitioning to a higher period of inflation and interest rates than we’ve had over the last 20 years.”

Communist democrats will be along to tell us how happy Americans are about inflation.

The half beef and qtr hog are at the butcher which will last 1.5 - 2 yrs.

I've seen this coming for quite awhile, it will also start causing interest to climb. As the gas prices rise, the cost to ship will increase as will the price of goods, wages will increase and the cost of living will increase and at the end of the day we will all realize our money gets us less and less and no one in government will step in and correct the problem, they will worsen it and spend even more money.

Yes indeed, thank you Dementia Joe.

That is the opinion of 1 economist. The Fed Chairman disagrees with that. This is transitory inflation. The fact that higher prices for cars have led to slowing sales shows this is not a inflationary spiral.

Hmmm, apparently the gas stations, grocery stores, hardware stores, individuals paying for products disagree with the Fed Chairman.
