The numbers were just posted today - 8.5%

"The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) was unchanged in July on a seasonally
adjusted basis after rising 1.3 percent in June, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.
Over the last 12 months, the all items index increased 8.5 percent before seasonal adjustment.

But how much of this has been "adjusted" by the DNC before going public?
None. No one outside the consumer price index division has any access to the data before the report is finished. The data is on a dedicated server and even the office doors are locked to anyone not directly working on the CPI. The BLS Commissioner and the BLS office of publications see it when it’s done, and the night before release the President and his economic advisor are usually given copies, but there is not and cannot be any political interference. If you think there is, please explain exactly what you think happens.
