It is a big problem across the Republic, and that is, entire states held hostage by their massively large blue city of Left wing loons.

They have zero representation, despite being a large area of conservative voters.

In fact, if it were not for major cities, the DCN would have zero support across the board.

It makes sense that the DNC controls all major cities in the US, because that is where the most money is located.

The corrupt cancer always goes to straight to the patient's blood supply as it syphons all life from the host.

Sounds too akin to the senselessness of those pushing for the popular vote.

I see the linked article is from February. Just a guess but I imagine Indiana's legislature has been out of session for months now. I wouldn't take it seriously.

Indiana can think all it wants to, it doesn't have the authority to steal counties from adjacent states. Not that there isn't a process for a county to be moved. The article was clear on that.

This is performative, but illustrative nonetheless. When almost a third of your counties want to leave your state, that says something.

Of course, it would only be proposed if there were enough counties to help offset Chicago. It is the classical urban vs rural voter interest. I recall listening to the different viewpoints of rural voters in Colorado during NPR's coverage of the 2016 presidential election when they gave each side a voice from the people. With the inner city and farm areas pretty well set, it seems to me the suburbs are the battlegrounds.

Maybe the votes in cities/metro areas over a certain population threshold should only be counted as 2/3rds of a vote. It would help insure that the Hinterland voter was not disenfranchised.
