WASHINGTON – A divided Supreme Court on June 6 said Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency can have complete access to the data of millions of Americans kept by the U.S. Social Security Administration.

That includes YOUR Social Security numbers, medical and mental health information, tax return information and citizenship records.

The court's three liberal justices − Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson − disagreed with that decision.

The government needs all that information to be able to know who should get benefits.

If you want social security disability benefits the government needs certain personal information such as your medical records, your income etc, etc, in order to process your claim.

They are not just going to take your word for it, dummy.
