There have been 7 presidential elections this century, and the Republican candidate has won the popular vote twice. 2004, 2024. The Cleveland Browns can’t tell the Philadelphia Eagles how they need to change the way they play football because they won a game. In the same way, Democrats don't need to listen to what Republicans have to say. They have a 2-5 record, and they think because they won two games that they can instruct everybody else on how to win.

Year Winner
=== ===============
2004 Republican (Bush II)
2008 Democrat (Obama)
2012 Democrat (Obama)
2016 Republican (Trump)
2020 Democrat (Biden)
2024 Republican (Trump)
Tied... 3 wins apiece... and more Republican than Democrat in the latter (present) half of that time frame.
The
2000 election was the last election of the
previous (20th) century... but
that was a Republican win, too !!!
All that counts is the Win... not the number of warm bodies... and if you can't win, then the bodies don't matter as much.
-----
In very recent times, the Democrats' actual heyday was the Obama Era.
That's over, and has BEEN over for quite some time now.
The country has taken a hard turn to the Right and the Democrats would be wise to review core policies and adjust quickly.
The country is tired of the Race-Baiting, Race-Card Playing and Identity Politics.
The country is tired of Open Borders and Large-Scale Illegal Immigation.
The country is tired of the Dem's limp-wristed response to Militant Islam.
The country is tired of the Dem's shoving the Gay Agenda down America's throat.
The country is tired of weak foreign policy and timid application of economic and military force when warranted.
Etc... etc... etc... the
Tired-of-the-Dems Laundry List is far too long to manage in the confines of a single post...
------
The Democrats would be well-advised to stop-listening to Race-Baiters and Identity-Politickers and make-up with White America.
Until it does that.. and until the public itself perceives that Democrats as once again effective for the Working Man... they will lose.
Given how far they've let things go to hell-in-a-handbasket in recent decades... especially in the cities... that comes as no surprise.
