Better us than China right ? Or should we still be worried ?

With combined annual sales of around $74 billion, the recent merger between Raytheon and United Technologies means the new company has passed Northrop Grumman to become the second-largest defense-and-aerospace company in the U.S. after Boeing.

China earlier had very small defense contractors, with no entries in the top 100 defense contractors, either. But now China has six entries of the top 15, and this rise happened only within a year, which is an amazing achievement. Now the United States has to fight for its crown as the most powerful country on the globe. China tends to build the most powerful army in the world, and plans to take the leadership from the United States.

It is a double-edged sword, our Military Industrial Complex. On one hand we'd be dust of history (our nation) without it. On the other, well—we've always loved our shiny booming new toys. China, however, would pose little to no threat if our country, namely the two parties that run it, were still united, at least in patriotic love for America. But because of deep, festering division between them China has found and exploited countless backdoors into our industrial and military complexes. If we're going to fall as an entire civilization to a foreign enemy, that fall will have begun deep inside our most secretive halls of military and political might long before a single pair of Chinese boots set foot on our domestic sovereign soil.

All too true.....but why is the left soooo determined to see the United states come down? I just don't understand it.
