So now you want to regulate the weight of a trigger pull?
Maybe we should just amputate the trigger finger off of anyone who can pull a trigger more than once every 5 seconds

It's not the weapon that fires at a different rate it's the trigger finger of the person and how fast any particular person can squeeze and release a trigger that determines the number of rounds per minute fired from a semiautomatic weapon
so it's trigger fingers you need to regulate not guns
