i'm still not quite sure if people believe the lies because they're so good. or they know they are lies and they're ok with it. in the case of the clintons, has adroit lying become ... fashionable?

at this point in the campaign, i'll bet there are less undecideds than ever before.

one thing for sure is that we are in an era where high crimes and misdemeanors carry no real consequence. to some people the clintons both are real heros, the way they operate is admired.

what will that say for the future ? hard to say, but if obama can get away with covering up benghazi to win an election, and the clintons are the way they are, who knows.

for whatever reasons, democracies don't seem to last for long (historically), maybe the erosion of basic values will be to blame. and we love our redemption.

In all actuality this is not a new phenomenon. Liars and crooks have had some popularity throughout history.

e.g. James Gang (not the band), Butch and Sundance, John Dillinger and the list goes on.
