Yes it did spike, thanks to the Democrats and the commie judges who work for them. Trump beat them all out and greatly reduced that number by holding Mexico responsible for people crossing their country to get to ours, and making asylum applicable in their country only. It made no sense for them to come here any longer because they couldn't use our very own weak policies to sneak in, and Democrats fought him all the way.
Wow, you live in your own fantasy world, don't you? The numbers went down all through the Obama years, partially because of increased enforcement, partially because of economic development in Mexico...

Then you had a spike in 17 and 18 because of political crisis in Central America, and because they were worried that a wall was actually going to go up and they couldn't do it later.

By 19, the crisis had subsided. For now. This year, no one wants to cross because Trump has fucked up everything so bad countries are locking Americans out. Isn't that fucking ironic.

It's like saying "Trump solved mass shootings" because Covid has kept people from gathering in large groups. (Except for his Super-Spreader events, of course.)

Immigration authorities released more than 400,000 illegal migrants into the U.S. under catch-and-release border policies in 2019. This year, that has been cut to fewer than 15,000 — and most of those were humanitarian cases, such as those involving a need for urgent medical care.
It all could come roaring back next year, though, the Department of Homeland Security said this week, warning of a looming “invasion” of illegal immigrants should the next administration roll back President Trump’s accomplishments.

While other departments are defending Mr. Trump, Homeland Security leaders are going further. They are arguing aggressively that the kinds of policies laid out by Democratic presidential nominee Joseph R. Biden would unleash a wave of illegal immigration unlike anything seen before.

This article is complete bullshit. DHS leadership is NOT ALLOWED TO EXPRESS POLITICAL OPINIONS. Government workers are not allowed to express a preference for one candidate over another - it's a violation of the Hatch Act.

If you didn't have biased, lying sources, you wouldn't have any sources.

  • Although the Washington Times has a very strong right editorial bias, they report straight news with a much lower bias. Therefore, we rate them Right-Center biased overall. We also rate them Questionable and factually mixed due to poor sourcing, holding editorial positions that are contrary to scientific consensus, and numerous failed fact checks.

Oh please, they announced that new caravans were on the way, and the Mexican military stopped those people at their border. If they can't cross Mexico to get here, they don't come. Mexican military is not like our border patrol. You bust down their barrier, they start shooting. Plus the fact it would be a waste of time coming here anyway since they couldn't apply for asylum. Our weak and considerate asylum process allowed them to fill out a form, enter the country, and never to be seen again. Trump stopped that, and that's why they quit coming.

Since you refuse to read credible links, here's an excerpt:

Murdock’s version is more plausible based on the data on port processing of “inadmissible aliens” along the southwest border—generally those without documents proving pre‐approval to enter. Monthly arrivals of undocumented migrants at ports steadily rose under the Obama administration. The port arrivals more than tripled from a monthly average of 5,788 in fiscal year (FY) 2012 to a peak of 20,524 in October 2016 (Figure 1). However, since that peak, the numbers have fallen 51 percent to 10,029 in December 2018—the month when Nielsen told Congress that ports could handle no more.

Actually, 96% of people who get a hearing for asylum show up for their hearings... another right wing lie.

No, they show up for their first hearing. When the final hearing is scheduled, you never see them again. Their lawyers tell them after the first hearing what their chances of getting asylum is.

Do you ever get tired of being wrong.

But the president’s theory doesn’t hold up: About 99 percent of asylum seekers who were not detained or who were previously released from immigration custody showed up for their hearings over the last year, according to new data from the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) at Syracuse University, a think tank that tracks data in the immigration courts.

The latest data from TRAC shows that nearly every migrant who applied for asylum and whose case was completed in 2019 showed up for all of their court hearings. That’s even though the vast majority of asylum seekers — about four in five — were not detained at all or had been released from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody before their court date.

Show us the express Immigration clause, right wingers.

You go with the Washington Times? YOu know, the paper owned by the FUCKING MOONIES?
Certainly much more credible than Vox. Of course you don't read your own sources. Had you done that, you would have seen the part where the DOJ said this 96% claim is BS. Also they used some left-wing wacko company to furnish them with their report whereas my WP article used the Border Patrol as their source of information. I would say the non-bias Border Patrol is more reliable than some Vox hand picked company called TRAC.

The Border Patrol is probably one of the most corrupt government agencies there are... Also, they really don't keep track of these people once they cross the border.

Biden will destroy the country? :auiqs.jpg:You people are pathetic
They absolutely, positively believe it. It's what their "media" is telling them 24/7, filling them with so much rage and paranoia every single day that they literally can't think straight. If Trump doesn't win, we all die or end up like Venezuela. LITERALLY. This poll lays it out:

Our media has nothing to do with it. We don't march in lockstep to Fox or AM radio like the left does with CNN. Like I said, all you have to do is read Biden's agenda, listen to what he's said on the campaign trail, and you'd know if he carries out his plans, it will destroy this country, especially at this fragile time in the world.

Of course they do. They know more about illegal immigration than anybody else. You hypocrite leftists are all for big government until it goes against your beliefs. When it does, they are nothing but corrupt.

Uh, guy, you said the same shit with Obama.

And after 8 years, Obama cleaned up most of Bush's mess.

Then Trump came along and fucked things up even worse- Plague, Recession, Riots.

Of course they do. They know more about illegal immigration than anybody else. You hypocrite leftists are all for big government until it goes against your beliefs. When it does, they are nothing but corrupt.
Actually, the corruption of the BOrder Patrol is well documented.

“[A]n unacceptable number of CBP employees are arrested each year for violating federal, state, or local law,” the report says. Of 268 CBP employees arrested in fiscal 2018, 11 were arrested twice; one was arrested four times; and one was arrested five times, resulting in a total of 286 arrests.

But the topic was attendance at Asylum hearings.. Not even their department. That would actually be ICE.

You never learn, do ya? What did I tell you about posting sites with headlines only? You didn't even know you had to start an account with this phony source before reading anything.

We MUST STOP Biden from the presidency by keeping President Trump in the white house!!
Biden wants to give FREE healthcare to ILLEGAL aliens! That's on VIDEO from the crazy Democratic debates!

Biden also said NO deportations for 100 days!! Then he'll hardly deport ANYONE unless you're a KILLER so that's de facto OPEN borders!!

Biden also what's to make 12 to 20 MILLION ILLEGAL aliens American citizens PLUS increase refugees by 700%!!

A Biden presidency would be the END of America as we know it & the END of the GOP as a national political party!!
Democommiecrats want the killers most of all.
