yes, those 2 programs on those 2 sites are safe
i wouldnt trust them from any other site though
i gave you the original software writers site

yes, depending on the speed of your system and how badly infected it is, it could take a few hours for each scan
it could be done in as little as 30 minutes


and yes, they are BOTH very thorough, but sometimes one will find something the other didnt
