The point isn't that we have worse teeth. The point is we can get dental care relatively easily, while you guys, apparently can't.

Proud to say, 63 years old tomorrow, and still have my own teeth. (Well, most of them, anyway.)

There is a perception from post WW2 but that has long gone... NHS program was particularly good and very high reputation...

I went to University in Scotland and the first month of each year was a line of foreign students (including Irish) outside the Dentist getting procedures done... UK has a very good rep in Dentistry..

It such a source of pride that it had a main feature in the London Olympics opening... Ireland has said that it would love to have a system like the UK, this is not envy but aspiration(this would be alien to MAGA)...

I think it's more apparence than reality. Americans are more likely to have access to elective procedures like teeth whitening and veneers.

Pretty simple....

Both of them are readily available privately but considered cosmetic and not on the NHS (free)....

Generally it would be a bit cheaper to get privately in UK... Simple Google puts the cheapest at £150 in UK and $250 per tooth in US....

It is more cultural, US does a lot more cometic procedures than UK...
