Who ran on that, Trump? I suppose he did though I do not specifically remember right now as it was a fairly minor issue at the time compared to getting the borders closed, illegal criminals deported and other things. But I thought Trump HAD worked on that and there had been some successes? But then, local authorities, states, school districts, etc., fight federal authority and have fought compliance, but I know there has been some victories and progress, but the battle for sanity rages on.

My guess is that once this Iran monkey gets off Trump's back a little, people in his administration will be swinging full circle and coming back to issues like this yet again. Honestly, our legal system for all its good and precedence and history is a joke.
