In a terrible loss to the left which can’t steal taxpayer dollars fast enough for the illegals they worship, tge taxpayers in Kentucky won’t be paying for college tuition money stolen for the benefit of illegals.

Illegal immigrants
will no longer receive in-state tuition at Kentucky’s public colleges after a federal judge ruled the policy violated U.S. law and permanently blocked its enforcement.

The ruling, issued by U.S. District Judge Gregory F. Van Tatenhove, hands a win to the Trump administration and Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman after they challenged the policy as giving benefits to those in the country illegally that federal law does not allow.

It seems that federal law prohibits giving a benefit (lower tuition) to illegal aliens that is not given to (legal) students paying higher tuition. There may be another issue as to whether illegal aliens are able to establish legal residence in a particular state.

Am I understanding this issue?

My read was that legal residence is a misnomer when applied to illegal aliens. It was about benefits afforded to illegals but denied to US citizens.
