Grandpa Ludwin B131 arrived in the US in 1925.
He got US citizenship in 1929.
For some reason, he took the family back to Germany in 1930, but was back in the US by 1931.

After his year is up or almost up, he should be prosecuted federally on the repeated illegal border jumping, and allowed to stay in the US in a Federal Prison a few more years, (as he obviously likes it in America) before getting kicked out of the country again.

It encouraged immigration from NOrthern Europe, which is where my Grandfather came from. But leave it to you to harp on a stupid point because you are a stupid person. Is this you trying to wiggle out of saying that there were no immigration laws in effect in the 1920s? The ONLY people not subjected to detention and processing were first class passengers who could afford to immigrate.

I said it was easier to immigrate then than it is now. I know this because I just had to handle an immigration issue with my wife that required 200 pages of documentation.

My grandparents didn't have to go through anything nearly that intense.
