Tell that to my Mexican friends who still talk to each other in Spanish but converse with others in English. You should never expect someone to use your language to people who know theirs. My wife, daughter and son all understand Spanish, and speak a little.
No. You don't. But you cannot make me hate them because I treat them as individuals. My Muslim doctors and those I know of other faiths have not done any of that, so why should I treat them any different because you say so? The first time they do, I would drop them like a hot rock. Until then, you do you and I'll be me.

I also don’t think we need to translate voting material into English. Do taxpayers really need to pay for thousands of signs that say “vote aqui”, and say “presidente” on the ballot?! I thought basic English competency was a requirement of citizenship.
