Why would the democrats capitalize the word describing people they intend to eradicate from the face of the planet?

I suspect that if a student were to capitalize that word (as in "I saw mostly White people.") in a report, his/her teacher would reprimand the student for improper capitalization and give the student a lower mark for that report.

I personally hope that people on the Internet would capitalize that word when posting. I assume that most moderators would allow it, unless a lot of people (say on Twitter or FaceBook) complained.

Why does it matter if upper case letters are used or not? To me, as long as the right letter are used, the word will be spelled right at least.
