If you see Muslims killing animals, call the police

Yeap, Jews have this weird chicken murder thing too.

Traditionally, during Kaporos, a live chicken is swung over the head of a practitioner three times while a prayer is recited and the sins of the practitioner are symbolically transferred to the chicken. On the eve of Yom Kippur, the chickens are handed to a shochet (a person certified to kill animals in accordance with shechita law) to be killed and the meat donated to the poor – or eaten at the pre-Yom Kippur meal.

FALSE!
A few years ago, I had Muslim neighbors with a sheep/goat ranch behind my back yard. On Eid al Adha, one of them went out into the pasture & killed a sheep, beating him over the head with a club.

I reported it to the police, and the next day I saw 2 plain clothes detectives (badges on their belts) talking to the Muslims there. I don't know if they got fined or arrested, but the following year we noticed that they again killed an animal but this time, they brought the animal inside their house, where neighbors could still hear the animal's loud cries, moans & wails.

You don't seem to know much about Islam. I can assure you that Islamic law does not supercede US law. Scores of things in the Koran are in violation of US laws, including mass murder, rape, slavery, pedophilia, wife beating, and yes, animal cruelty.

Somebody (anybody) does not get away with violating these laws just by claiming it to be part of a religion (which many people, and some countries do not even accept Islam as being a "religion")

In a FEW cases, Muslims have been able to use the "religion" excuse to slip by US courts, at the district level, however these have always been unanimously overruled in the appeals court - example > the Muslim husband claim that Koran 4:34 allowed him to rape & beat his wife (who was seeking a restraining order).
Moron New Jersey Judge Joseph Charles allowed Islamic law to supercede New Jersey law, and refused to grant the restraining order.
He was unanimously overruled in the appeal court.
I don't know if he was ever disbarred from ever practicing law again, but if not, he should have been.

In fact 2 states, Florida & Texas have outlawed Islamic (Sharia) law entirely.
What you witnessed was criminal, even under Sharia law. That sacrifice was not Dhabihah.

Today, May 27th, is the beginning of the 3 days of the Muslim observance of "Eid al Adha. This is one of the worst 3 days periods of time in the world. Millions of innocent animals will be killed by uncivilized, barbaric Muslims during this awful 3 day period.

In the USA, killing animals is a CRIME. State laws vary slightly, but all prohibit outright killing of animals. Claiming it to be for a religious purpose is not acceptable. As is typical of many Muslims, especially recent immigrants, they pay little attention to US laws, and instead, follow their Islamic law, which often is ILLEGAL under US law. Americans should be observant if they have Muslim neighbors. If you think animals are being killed, call the police. This goes for anyone violating these laws, Muslims no exception.

In the United States, killing an animal is a crime only if it is done in a manner that violates specific animal cruelty laws, such as through intentional torture or neglect. While all 50 states have laws criminalizing certain acts of animal cruelty, including "felony animal cruelty" provisions for extreme cases, the legality of killing an animal depends on the context and the species. Are you a Leftist vegetarian? I'm not and prefer meat on my plate. YMMV

What is Eid-ul-Adha’s Biblical Connection?

Eid ul-Adha is based on the Quran’s account of Abraham (known in Islamic tradition as Ibraham) acting in obedience to Allah when he was told to sacrifice his son. Although the Quran does not mention the name of Abraham’s son, many Muslims believe Abraham was asked to sacrifice Ishmael as opposed to Isaac, the son named in the Christian Old Testament.

As Abraham prepared for the sacrifice, Muslims believe Allah sent a ram as replacement for Abraham’s son at the last second, which Abraham then sacrificed in thanks to Allah’s provision. As a symbol of this sacrifice, each able Muslim participates in Qurbani, an animal sacrifice to Allah that is seen as the most important sacrifice of the year....
...Meat from Qurbani animals must be equally distributed into three parts; one-third can be used by the individual or family that provided the sacrifice, another third is distributed to their friends and family, and the final third is given to the poor.

My grandparents had a 140-acre farm; we slaughtered animals to feed ourselves.
"Silence of the lambs"? LOL

I spent summers on my grandparent's farm too. He was older and sent any cattle to butchered to a shop, but the chickens were killed in place. Grandma stuck the beheaded carcass in boiling water and I was tasked with plucking them.

I also often went squirrel and rabbit hunting there.

Me too, and turtle shooting while fishing.

good luck, they will say it's part of their religion which is protected in the USA because it is

police are not going to intervene with the constitution
Try that will sacrificing 3 year old virgins. Human sacrifice is one of the oldest religions in existence. Will it get Constitutional protection?

That is protected in industry on a mass scale, not for individuals. Killing animals is CRIME.

And Islam is not a religion (except in the minds of DUPES). Wouldnt matter if it was. You dont get to violate US laws, by waving a religion flag.

CALL THE POLICE.
Looks pretty much the same as you killing an animal to eat and the killing of animals is not widely celebrated in the U.S. Usually the muslims in U.S. contribute to a charity to feed a muslim family here.

I guess you've never killed a deer, rabbit, squirrel or fished and ate your take.

As you always do just trying to stir up the heard on USMB to a rage.

Humans have Constitutional rights, sheep and chickens do not.

I know that's a difficult concept for you since all MAGAts seek to overthrow our Constitution but it's still true.

It's a cult not a religion and it doesn't have any place in The United States of America.
QED on MAGAts falsely claiming to be Christians and actively seeking to overthrow our Constitution.

This is one reason why White Nationalists are domestic enemies of the Constitution.

How do you resolve competing absolute rights? If I firmly believe that my religion requires that I confiscate your car to go to church who are you to stop me?

Animals have statutory rights. They do. Animals in slaughterhouses have rights.

Christians sacrificed a man instead.....as the final sacrifice for our sins, Jesus Christ.... He died for our sins, our sacrificial Lamb, the Lamb of God.
Which is why we don’t need animal sacrifice.

Would be nice to ban human sacrifice (abortion) as well.

That's the main purpose of government and, especially, the courts: to resolve conflicts between citizens and their rights. There's a law against theft. I'd happily file a complaint for grand theft auto and see you go to prison. Really. :D

Animals have no rights. There are humanitarian laws to protect them, but they have no rights. Have you ever seen a sheep file a complaint in court? Sheeple, yes. Sheep, no.

Nope, we can use the Constitution to implement Christian law.

The Founders did it. Most states had religious requirements to hold office for example.

Go for it. Just realize that the Muslims can do the same.

What does SCOTUS say about that requirement? The Founders also had slaves and women couldn't vote. Do you favor a return to those laws too?

UM, their property, their possession........they can do what they want with livestock, police can't do dick

you know........property rights and your property......

if you are beating on or mistreating a dog.........not a goat and neighbors witness this yes it can be considered
animal cruelty but livestock is NOT considered a pet, they are raised for food, not your buddy or pet

horses fall into that area where they are not raised for food, not your pet but are protected for what they are designed for

there can be some odd gray area's here too
It takes a lot for animals to be defined as "livestock". Just having a dozen or so of them doesn't cut it, as my ex-neighbors found out.
