Really ? You should move to the South side of Chicago then. Although I loath Republicans almost as much as Democrats I'm way safer in my Republican controlled rural Alabama town than Chicago.I will take our Democratically run cities over Republican run backwoods shit holes any day

And I’ve been lost in crime-ridden districts of Washington, DC. No...The main problem appears to be the increased numbers of Low Information Voters flocking to the Republican Party
I don’t know if this is caused by inferior school systems in Red States, rampant inbreeding among Conservatives or something in the water systems in rural America
It's caused by the Democratic Party having become the champion of Minorities and Queers and abandoning and demonizing White America...
Leaving behind dyed-in-the-wool LibProg Whites and their Wigger camp followers, as the rest of the White population drifts further to the right...
Shut the goddamned southern border, disavow so-called Critical Race Theory, abandon Reparations and reinstate traditional Genders, and you win many back...
Fail to do so and you'll continue to see the draining-away... November 2016 was just a first solid materialization of that movement... much more seems likely...
You can bite the bullet and begin working to win-back the White Vote or you will soon reach a tipping point where even LibProgs start to abandon ship...
Like keeps company with Like... always have... always will... and all the legislation and education and communication in the world won't ever change that...

To each his own I guess....I am not a fan of high taxation, inflated housing, crime, traffic, and the overall bad attitude of city dwellers...I have been to most of our major cities

The town I'm from has a population of 15,000 people. It does have a Walmart just like almost every city in the US and a pizza hut along with every other major fast food franchise, a Japanese restaurant several locally own steak houses, high end clothing stores and so on. The hero—a builder and mathematician who has been thoroughly shaped by his society, who never questions it—has atavistic “hairy hands.” Seduced into violent and irrational passion, he makes a shocking discovery of an unsuspected, long- suppressed realm—the realm within, of individual identity, of self. “Who am I? What am I like?” he cries despairingly.
In a supremely tragicomic scene, he visits a doctor, seeking help against this terrifying malady. The doctor gravely tells him he is seriously ill—he has developed a soul. “Is it dangerous?” he asks. “Incurable,” the doctor replies. “
Sadly, Zamyatin’s “Benefactor,” that would be Orwell’s “Big Brother," found a remedy for individuality, for rebellion, for humanity: a simple operation to excise the seat of all infection—imagination—
.....and reduce all citizens of the One State to grinning semi-morons.”
