If two innocent police officers can be put on trial, Ashli Babbitts killer can too

I don't know any Black women that stupid HOWEVER, if a Black woman was leading a mob trying to breach a barricaded area where members of Congress had been instructed to shelter in place, then yeah, she would have deserved the exact same outcome.

WHY? Because a violent mob attempting to get their hands on members of Congress or the Vice President of the United States is a friggin crime in spite of what you all seem unable to understand.
It was not necessary to shoot her.
It was excessive force, and that is a 4th amendment civil rights violation.

She was armed with a violent mob
Not mob at all. 2 men who are not prosecuted, broke windows. She hit one of them. I believe from the video I have posted many times, the man got pissed at her and tossed her into the window. Byrd being violent shot the wrong person.

The 4th amendment deals with unlawful search & seizure (in violation of the U.S. Constitution). Excessive force only comes into play when a determination needs to be made as to whether the use of force was excessive during the course of the [traffic] stop or seizure. Babbett was not at a traffic stop or being detained therefore the 4th doesn't apply to that scenario, including the use of force.

Perhaps it was not necessary to shoot her specifically, but whoever it was who tried to come through that broken out window would have been rightfully shot in order to neutralize the imminent threat posed by the mob and the person leading it.

Instead of insisting WRONGLY that Babbett didn't need to be shot, why not familiarize yourself with the laws regarding 1) use of force, 2) self-defense, and 3) defense of another. Of special note is disparity of force which is what Officer Byrd was facing when having to deal with the mob and the person at the head of it.

Everyone that I've spoken with that works in protection all agree that they would have responded in the same manner. The fact that no one else tried to breach the window should be all the proof you need that the shooting was effective. The rest of the mob was certainly free to make another attempt to breach but it's of note that none tried.

Well I've never heard this version before. I've seen the video multiple times where they hoisted her up so that she could climb through the window and I didn't see anything that looked like a scuffle or that she went through the window unwillingly.

Bryd was not "being violent" he was protecting members of Congress and possibly of the Presidential cabinet.

I was in grade school when I first learned that threatening the President of the United States or the Vice President is illegal. How in the hell did Babbett end up protecting military bases as her job while she was serving in the military and not know what could happen if you threaten members of Congress or the President's cabinet?

Ashli Babbit was the definition of a good shoot.
The one and only time you people cheer when a police officer shoots an unarmed protester; and, you didn’t even bring race into it because the shooter was Black and Ashli was White. 👏 👏 (The Hypocrisy is going to bite you in the ass).

I have seen two videos and just one shows her hitting the guy that I still believe put her into the window. Surly you would want a trial to show the complete evidence.
