For trumples, ignorance is bliss.Inflation is currently 2.3%. It can’t GET much lower without causing other serious problems.
Trump’s proposed policies would cause it to go UP
According to the Wall Street Journal
Trump isn't winning. It will be amusing to see how quickly the mainstream media switches gears regarding the economy should Trump win.
We will suddenly see news stories about single mothers struggling to feed their children during the "Trump Recession".
The homeless junkie Democrats in San Fran will suddenly become photogenic again.
The people watching CNN at the doctor's office will soon see concerned anchors talking about the national debt and the
failure of the Trump admin to secure the border. Perhaps, they will be at the doctors because they got whiplash from watching the
media spin 180 degrees?![]()
Limbaugh convinced them that the (R) after their name identified them as experts in macroeconomics. Through osmosis, or something.Wait.........what? You must have that wrong. trump's economy was the greatest the world has ever seen!!
Under Biden, America’s gross domestic product has grown an average 3.6% a year. Under Trump, economic growth averaged only 2.6%.

Biden’s economy is superior in just about every way
In overseeing the American economy, President Joe Biden has shown himself to be an amazing manager. It’s all there in the numbers, especially when placed next to those of his predecessor. And should Biden win a second term and show himself to be not as sharp as he was four years ago, small...www.timesrepublican.com
This is the problem, Yes my sandwich meat cost more.If you buy groceries you have to notice inflation. My fav sandwich meat doubled in price this year. Bastards.
Thanks for reinforcing the Orwellian meme. “Believe us. Not your lying eyes.” Many items are 50% more than they were in 2019. That’s just an unassailable factActually, we aren't. But thanks for helping prove the power of RWM misinformation.......and your gullibility.
As they once again leave out the effect of the 1.5 year COVID shutdowns by Democrat governors of CA and NY Why are you guys always dishonest?Wait.........what? You must have that wrong. trump's economy was the greatest the world has ever seen!!

1. During Trump's 1st term he and Mnuchin cut taxes to spur growth to 5% or better. It never happened. The only thing that grew was the National Debt. GOP fiscal irresponsibility (lies) say that cutting taxes raises revenue, which may be somewhat True, except that the small increase in revenue is offset by a huge amount of BORROWING added to the DEBT. No one in DC ever reduces spending.
You're right, I did notice a price increase in the stores, and honestly, if many food producers decided to "take advantage" of "inflation" and raise their prices (profits), who is there to stop them? That goes double for a Trump administration, where much of this profiteering would (most likely, based on Trump's behavior) be deliberately overlooked. If you buy groceries you have to notice inflation. My fav sandwich meat doubled in price this year. Bastards.
I stopped reading at the media hates democratsLike other posters pointed out, the media hates Democrats. The media always fakes stories about how bad the economy supposedly is under democrats, and always smooches Republican butts.
When was the last time you saw the media mention how Trump left the economy a smoking ruin, the worst economy since Hoover? The media has completely and conveniently forgotten the massive Trump recession.
Biden performed a miracle by fixing the Trump debacle, by getting Trump's high gas prices down, and by taming the Trumpflation. He did it without causing a recession, which no president has ever done before.
Remember, Trump bragged about how succcessful he was at raising gas prices. When you saw high prices at the pump, remember that TRUMP DID THAT. That's not debatable by honest honest person, since Trump bragged about doing it.
Not only did Trump jack up gas prices, much of that money went into his family's pockets, through bribes from the Saudis. Trump and his family are laughing at the Trump cult rubes, who gleefully hand him their money and then blame Democrats.
If you've got gonads, you'll vote Trump out for that. If you don't, if you're a squealing spineless eunuch, you'll keep licking Trump boots and handing him your money. We know all the Trump cultists here will choose the 'nadless route. After all, they were castrated as part of the initiation ceremony.
Oh, some thoughts. The economy always does much better under Democrats.

Also consider the deficit. Biden dropped the deficit, bigly. Trump exploded the deficit, even more bigly. That's always the case, that Republicans explode deficits, while Democrats reduce deficits.
1. Trump's economy before Covid was better than Biden's. Obama's 2% GDP growth was mediocre, the slowest recovery in history. If Obama's economy was good, one reason was that Obama is called "the Deporter-in-Chief". Less cheap labor is good for wages and fewer mouths is good for food prices. The same two policies Trump will implement, and the two policies that Biden fucked up. Biden let 12,000,000 illegals into the US depressing wages, and increasing food prices by the Law of Supply & Demand.Kook conspiracy theory, contradicted by observed reality. That was Obama's red-hot economy. Remember, the first two years of any admin are the previous guy's economy. It took time for Trump to run Obama's booming economy into the ground, but he eventually succeeded.
And remember the deficits. Dear lord, the deficits. Trump jacked them up to astronomical levels, essentially using a credit card to fake growth.
That was a global inflationary spiral, set in motion by events Trump set up. Are you going to tell us Biden controls the world economy? In any case, US inflation was much lower than global inflation. Because Biden. Biden was masterful at taming inflation. And he did it without causing a recession, something that every economist said was impossible. Biden was a freakin' miracle-worker with the economy.
Anyways, if you claim inflation is Biden's fault, can you tell us exactly how? This should be amusing. After all, deficits were much bigger under Trump, the money supply expanded much more under Trump.
And rising fast at the end of his term. When you saw high prices at the pump, TRUMP DID THAT. That's not debatable by any honest person, given that Trump openly bragged about how he raised oil prices by colluding with the Saudis. Again, TRUMP DID THAT. And you praise him for that. Curious.
Oh, US oil production, record high under Biden. How does that square with your fantasy claims?
But Trump inherited Obama's low deficits. Biden inherited Trump's incredibly high deficits, and brought them down.
Competition will keep "profiteers" from price-gouging. The problem is, everything is going up. That's what happens when Biden let in 12,000,000 illegals and is giving them free food. Supply & Demand says prices will rise with more demand.
This time Elon Musk should figure out a way to cut spending. We know Kamala is a disaster in waiting.I agree. Trump's first term was a disaster. So why are you so keen on a second one?
