At the time Palestenians had a clear choice to have their own country that respected Israel statehood, which THEY DENIED, insisting that Israel is Palestenian territory.

Overall, Israel has been a victim of agression for as long as it has existed as a country and YES that will militarize and harden their responses. It's a democratic country funadamentaly capable of deliberation, compromise and long term resolution of conflict.

Same can't be said about Palestine and their current Hamas rule, who's charter accepts nothing less than full destruciton of Israel.

Ceasefire ended when Hamas brutally raped and killed 1200 civilians and it should not end untill each and every one of those murderers is 6 feet under along with their sworn charter of Israel's destruction.

There can be no peace untill Palestenians are politically able to accept a compromise, to have their own country and to respect Israel's right to exist.

For Russian war - Ukraine has every right to defend it's territories from Russian invaders.

The war can be over tommorow if Russia simply takes it's invading forces and sends them home to their wives and children. My best hope for short term peace is someone growing some balls and ending Putin's Czardom for the sake of the country.

In absence of Russia abandoning it's lawless invasion , it is up to Ukraine, not outsiders, to decide what it should settle for. Though of course giving up their territories without any real long term third party security guarantees (read NATO) would be very stupid for Ukraine to do, bilateral agreements with Russia are not worth the paper they are written on.
