That would not only add great wealth to the new Americans in Greenland but would add vastly needed resources to America and help protect the world by providing an advantageous geographical position for the U.S military.

The costs would not be very much at all for how important that location would be.

Sounds like Denmark propaganda. If 43% of young Canadians under 30 would be willing to accept U.S citizenship in the face of perpetual anti- American propaganda here, you can bet Greenland would be more interested being hundreds of miles away and with plenty of cash under their feet.

Greenland has the minerals under a mile or so of glacial ice. Also down there is Camp Commerce from back when playing with nuclear stuff wasn't really all that safe. When they closed down and left, they did take the nuclear reactor cores with them, but left behind tons of radioactive waste. It's supposedly the most radioactive location on the planet. Best to leave it under the ice.
