The SCOTUS was crystal clear in stating that presidents are NOT, in fact, immune for any and all acts committed while they are in office.Stand trial for what. No charges pending. Anything he did in office, he or his lawyers would say, were official acts and Supreme Court says those cannot be prosecuted. So, yes, he is off the hook, if he was ever on one. The Supremes ruled this, last summer, to help Trump, but could not say it applied only to Trump.
Only official acts in the capacity of their office.
So directing a criminal conspiracy of non government employees isn't part of that immunity.
Which means no immunity for the fake electors scheme.
No immunity for stealing classified documents and refusing to return them.
No immunity for directing his private lawyer to commit felonies.
