If the GOP Convention Looks Too Dangerous, Have Delegates Vote Remotely..

We all know this so we might as well just talk about it right now. The liberals are going to attempt to frighten delegates into not showing up at the GOP convention so that a Trump victory is assured. The GOP plan is of course to free up delegates to vote for whomever they wish...and that certainly means trouble for Trump...and ultimately Hillary; since her victory depends on Trump being the nominee. If the GOP nominated via delegate convention vote, a candidate who is strong, moderate and mature, Hillary (and a lot of blue congressional candidates by extension) won't stand a chance in the Fall. The liberals don't want to risk that so they are threatening violence at the GOP convention to be sure the delegate vote doesn't happen to disfavor Trump.

A solution would be, that if the convention gets too violent or the threats too violent, a certified remote vote of delegates could be arranged by a new rule. In this day and age, using perhaps notary publics, delegates could merely stay home and go to a local notary and have their votes registered that way and sent to the GOP headquarters. So that would be one loophole around liberal "make sure Trump wins" threats of violence at the GOP convention.

Actually, it is the responsibility of the Cleveland Police Department, the mayor of Cleveland, and the governor of Ohio to make certain no one is threatened or harmed by participating in the Convention. The rule of law demands no less. This was never intended to be a nation of mob rule. Any disturbance should be promptly dealt with utilizingl whatever force is required.

But what about delegates scared off to the vote? There can be both a convention vote and a remote vote to bring the total...in case some delegates are worried about convention violence. Perfect compromise..

Yeah, armed with the knowledge that they can go locally to their notary public and cast their vote instead of coming to the convention if it's too scary or a otherwise a hardship for them. It would also boost the public's perception of the GOP going the extra mile to make sure everyone could participate in a vote, instead of "voter suppression" as they are always accused of. The Cleveland Police should have NO presence whatsoever at the convention. All security should be handled by the Secret Service and the Ohio National Guard. The policy should be crystal-clear and announced in advance: rioters will be shot.

The delegates should be able to vote with out fear of being killed.
Threats of violence to our delegates would be the worst form of voter suppression imaginable.
