Hunter Biden had no apparent skills that would justify sitting on the board of Burisma, much less any skills that would justify a salary of $50K per month. It is revealing that Burisma hired Hunter Biden after the prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, began to investigate the company, which of course suggests that Hunter Biden was hired in the hope that his hiring would persuade Joe Biden to demand that the prosecutor be fired and/or that Hunter would persuade his dad to do so.

What?! Uh, the prosecutor WAS investigating Burisma. After the prosecutor began to investigate Burisma, Burisma hired Hunter Biden, clearly in the hope that doing so would at least shield Burisma from further scrutiny and possibly in the hope that Hunter would persuade dad to pressure Ukraine to halt the investigation or fire the prosecutor.
