If every city in America were like my home city, sleazy people like James Comey would walk every time.
I find myself trying to deal with the “high strangeness” of that city in New Hampshire that is my old hometown. That high strangeness encompasses the city leadership, its media, its educational system and even its medical center. The city has DEI leadership, DEI media, DEI education and even DEI medicine. The result is that the city is one of the dumbest and sickest cities in the state. Now, if your goal is to be a dumb, sick city that is fine. The city is as woke and liberal as any city in the country and the confused perception of its population is evident in its voting history. In 2020 voters in the city fell all over themselves in to elect Joe Biden, a mentally deficient figurehead that babbled nonsense, shook hands with invisible people and walked into closets.
No one in the city appears to have noticed that a global virus was used to corrupt the US voting infrastructure with widespread fraudulent mail-in voting. No one questioned the prostituted left leaning local newspaper joining the Boston Globe to attack the free speech of a presidential candidate. Few there had the wherewithal to comprehend Crossfire Hurricane that falsely accused Donald Trump of being a Russian agent. There are people in that city that to this day believe Trump is in cahoots with Vladimir Putin. It takes industrial strength stupidity to swallow this kind of disinformation and the old home is right there reporting for duty! The fact that Trump’s false connection to Russia was the handiwork of an opposition smear campaign by defeated candidate Hillary Clinton was too much for the woke-minded throngs on Keene’s curbs. They swallowed the hook like the most gullible fish in the pond.
I remember way back when my dad would watch the “Untouchables” on TV with Robert Stack as Elliot Ness, the incorruptible FBI agent fighting crime. Today “untouchable” has a very different connotation. James Comey, the backstabbing, postmodern minion of political deception believes he is indeed untouchable. His miscalculation that Trump would be defeated at the polls has now turned on him like a mongoose on a snake. But Comey is as smooth as any serpent of the propaganda jungle. He could slink away but his cohort, Andrew McCabe, has put him between a rock and a hard place.
Does anyone recall Comey’s Crossfire Hurricane interview with Chris Wallace? Wallace is no fan of Trump, but he had Comey in a very unpleasant position, and he did not back off. Comey, the experienced, FBI perfectionist backtracked with excuses of “mistakes”. He looked like a defendant in court guilty as hell fumbling for words especially when Wallace brought up Andrew McCabe, his underling who stated he was ordered by Comey to leak information.
Unfortunately, in a liberal city like mine, two opposite statements being true are no problem. Comey produced a personal video of himself saying that Donald Trump is so evil he had no choice but to act the way he did and in a city like that with a woke DEI mentality, that is as good as Elliot Ness going after Frank Nitti. Luckily, the rest of the country is not like that city. Comey could still walk but his guilt is so obvious that it cannot be denied and that does not bode well for the wokeness and liberalism the Democratic Party is foisting on America.
