I volunteered at my local food bank for a year. Drove a forklift 1 or 2 nights a week in the warehouse, and handed out food in the pantry on Thursdays. Also sorted produce on weekend evenings.

First thing I noticed is that the people in charge, and all the paid staff were almost all liberals, and practically all of the volunteers were conservatives. Mostly from local church groups.

Liberals always talk the talk, but rarely walk the walk...
