If I could name one song that epitomizes the MAGA reformation of America...

In celebration of his speech trump invited all these people to Mar-a-lago this weekend.

Attention Lib Cucks.

Ending wokeness is brought to you courtesy of the red, white, and blue. Normal people represent the red, white, and blue. You don't.

:woohoo:

It would be Bob Dylan's "The Times They Are A-Changin'"

Donald Trump and his Make America Great Again campaign has been the most significant political movement since the American political spectrum was divided into two parties. And this one song perfectly describes what happened in 2024, when Americans decided they'd had enough.

Put yourself in an imaginary position of being a Democrat, and think about how these words should have been interpreted as a warning...

"Come gather 'round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you is worth savin'
And you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'
Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won't come again
And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
And there's no tellin' who
That it's namin'
For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin'
Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
The battle outside ragin'
Will soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'
Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
And don't criticize
What you can't understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is rapidly agin'
Please get out of the new one
If you can't lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin'
The line it is drawn
The curse it is cast
The slow one now
Will later be fast
As the present now
Will later be past
The order is rapidly fadin'
And the first one now
Will later be last
For the times they are a-changin'"

I think Megadeath's "symphony of destruction" is more appropriate for various reasons.

"Just like the pied piper
Led rats through the streets
We dance like marionettes
Swaying to the symphony
Swaying to the symphony of destruction"

Have you ever heard the true story behind the song?

I knew the story but never heard it told so beautifully... thank you...
1800 cannonballs and rockets were fired at the fort over a 25 hour attack.... and the British gave up trying to take the fort...
I had a very good and patriotic US History teacher in High school... the best teacher I ever had...
He would have loved that video....

When I saw your headline, I couldn't imagine what song you might mean.

But, you are spot on.

The story always brings tears to my eyes. I've always enjoyed the study of history. Glad you enjoyed it.
