I’m making public for debate; a question I’ve heard repeatedly since the government started giving away taxpayers money. And I must say; the question has validity. If some are forbidden to work, for their own saftey, yet others are deemed essential, and therefore must expose themselves for the well being of the public... What concession is made on their behalf, given their selfless risk taking, and sacrifice?

Again, China opened up after six weeks. They haven't regressed. Benchmark is out. we're past the gestation period. time to let it go and get our people back to normal.

I agree, that it’s time to open up. But this thread is about money. Pretty base I know... But it is, what it is. The government is raiding the coffers, and doling out cash, as it sees fit. I see no need to refrain from criticizing where they are; and aren’t spreading our money. That said...
Governments made the call as to who was “essential” and who wasn’t. Not employers. Therefore it is the governments responsibility to make potentially adequate recompense for those they mandated exposure, on behalf of those they sheltered... On the surface; it sounds perfectly reasonable.

Whatever their employer deems necessary to keep them on the job, in order for the employer to fulfill contractual obligations and provide the important supply function at a profit marginal cost as employer deems necessary to continue to provide the function, as cost of doing business increases. Just like executive compensation increase vs hourly compensation increase, there is no guaranteeing a company will pass increases on to the hourly workers. If you are wanting socialistic reforms, contact your Senators and Representatives, but do not count on them overthrowing the marketplace of supply and demand.

we are all essential. they aren't essential without us. their pay is what their pay is based on their importance. The material within the stores are essential. Those who truck material there are essential, people who buy it make it essential. We all expose ourselves to get the essentials. Again, open up the economy the gestation is over. Their words, 14 days, we are now over 30 days

It’s not really too difficult to determine. Governments have clearly laid out who they deem essential. They have defined their position.

Yesterday we were over 2,000 deaths in a day. President doesn't care, but the governors do. Nobody taking trump's "all powerful, total authority" crap seriously. After all, we already know he's nuts. Look at Smithfield meats. Governor sided with you, until Smithfield said hell no, 453 infected in one plant not worth it and downright dangerous.
