The recent behavior of the Democratic Party since Trump's reelection is not going to entice many supporters. In a vote two days ago every single Democrat in the U.S. Senate
voted against cloture to advance legislation that would prevent males competing in female sports. This is an issue that has overwhelming support among the American people and would seem to be an obvious issue to support among swing state Dems, yet not a single one of them voted to advance it. Their antics last night were further telling. Aside from Congressman Al Green
needing to be forcefully removed, not a single Democratic member of Congress in attendance
stood up and joined in the applause for D.J. Daniel, a 13-year-old boy with brain cancer, who wants to hopefully grow up someday and become a police officer. To double down, a pundit on MSNBC commented that she hoped if Daniel did grow up and fulfill his dream
he doesn't commit suicide someday. They also didn't stand when it was announced that the mastermind behind the Abbey Gate attack was apprehended.
None of these are partisan issues, but our politics have been so infected with hate that the only thing anyone seems to stand for anymore is to be against whatever the other side is for.
