ICE Making Arrests

Deport them all and LOCK UP the Dem sanctuary city collaborators. Enough is enough, we need to rain down consequences on these American traitors!
Also lock up the politician's that endangered this country and it's citizen's with their politization of the border for a potential future empowerment of the Democrat party.

Blood is on their hands....

The border is not legally required to accept the asylum plea because the illegals have walked through other countries that will take them in but the illegals choose not to. They want the USA goodies
Yes, however there were too many coming in illegally and claiming asylum so they basically let them go with a promise of a court date which could have been years in the future but, the truth is, they would never show up for court. The whole thing was another Biden clusterfuck.

Question, how many of that 170 were arrested because they were interfering with police work or fighting against ice agents?

The OP says 130 were arrested for interfering with or assaulting officers.

20 others were reportedly children whom they say were "detained," which simply means they were cared for in custody until responsible adults could be located.

The other 20 were probably annoying. :-)

See the crap about what if it was me is crap It’s not me and would never be me or those like me because we don’t affiliate with those who are illegally here and subject to lawful responsibility which you don’t believe in and don’t want enforced
Save the pity fake for wherever you feel it will work
Would never be you?

Ya never know

ICE enforces immigration you dumbshit. If they are citizens thats the limit of ICE AUTHORITY.
True, but the hair on fire reaction of the left on this is silly.

Even back in the 80s CBP used to make mistakes, this administration isn't really doing anything that hasn't been done for decades.

I don't know why, but this went through my head in a dream last night. . .

‘In a different America, with robust constitutional protections, a new report from ProPublica would have been front-page news for a week. The report documents “more than 170” cases of American citizens detained by immigration agents during immigration sweeps. But the implications of the report extend far beyond the accounts of the mistreatment of some dozens of Americans. They point to an agency that has slipped the leash of the Fourth Amendment and a government willing to tolerate, even defend, lawless force against its own people.

The report is a grim tour through ICE’s daily operations. It puts the lie to the administration’s oft-repeated line—most recently from the DHS spokesperson—that “we don’t arrest U.S. citizens for immigration enforcement.” The facts on the ground tell another story. Among the incidents ProPublica chronicles: masked agents pointing a gun at, pepper-spraying, and punching a young man whose only offense was filming them during a raid; a 79-year-old car wash owner, still recovering from heart surgery, tackled and pinned with knees to his neck until his ribs broke; and a woman grabbed on her way to work, held for more than two days without contact with the outside world.

The report shows that many citizens were detained for days without access to a lawyer. It documents cases of citizens who clearly asserted their status, including displaying official ID, yet were ignored by the agents. It also notes that the Administration doesn’t even track arrests of citizens in immigration enforcement actions, and it lacks both method and concern in straightening out its rogue forces.

Even people who instinctively think of immigrants as “other” can appreciate the nightmare of being detained by your own government for no reason at all. These are not edge cases. They reveal the modus operandi of an agency that has ceased to care about constitutional barriers governing stops, arrests, and the degree of force. And when members of Congress call for an investigation into the abusive treatment of citizens, the Administration hasn’t even deigned to respond.’

Conservatives don’t care about this lawless abuse, of course – including when the violence and abuse is directed at US citizens.

Conservatives justify this lawless abuse by claiming it’s necessary ‘collateral damage’ in pursuit of Trump’s hateful, racist, bigoted anti-immigrant agenda.

The American Gestapo is off it's leash.

Total fluff piece by some dipshit lefty.

Not one specific example is given of a US citizen arrested or detained for “days”. Some 79 year old man, no name given so we can get the real story.

The rest of the piece of full of shit like claiming just because some of the cases are dismissed in court, that means the charges weren’t legitimate.

Have you watched ANY of those police cam video you tube channels? You wouldn’t believe how many charges are tossed against criminals committing crimes right on camera. Judges in the country have lost their minds. They let criminals off scott free all the time, even when there is video evidence.

What does "detained" mean in a legal sense? Thousands of American citizens peacefully comply with police officers in traffic stops every day and nobody is roughed up. The real problem is when illegal alien loving lefties encourage violence against ICE agents.

Exactly. It's no different than all the George Floyds of the world, who refuse to comply with lawful orders from the police, or follow any kind of civilized norms.

You reap what you sow.
