ICE arrests Palestinian activist who helped lead Columbia University protests, his lawyer says

GTFOH! You didn’t give two shits about due process for Trump…Kiss my ass.
Trump had due process....he was charged and had his due process in the courts with a trial
...

Trump called off his own due process when he won the presidency, and the trial opportunity was ended.

He's a liar....his due process was greater than any human being on earth, with delay delay delay and using his favorite supreme court.

Because none of you libs did...It was all about "Get Trump" on anything you could make up....Now, all of the sudden you're all about due process, and rights....Meh, I'm not buying your schtick....
Trump was prosecuted in a criminal court.

With due process.

You don’t know what the **** you’re talking about. You’re just saying shit because it feels good to accuse people you disagree with of being evil.

Immigration isn’t even civil court. It’s an administrative court.

Lots of people are accusing Khalil of criminal acts, but none of you seem to care that he’s not actually charged with anything criminal.

I think I know why.
Well, I'm sure we'd all be on the edge of our seats waiting for your hot air on why....Short of that though, the law is clear. And I know you've read that...So, stop playing games, and know that Rubio has signed off, and short of some liberal activists in black robes trying to stall his inevitable fate, he is going to be on his way back to Syria, and all you will have done is show yourself to defend Americas enemies rather than stand for this country....Think about that....

Rubio does what he’s told.

I don’t think they can find anything he said or did that isn’t protected by the first amendment.

I prefer 'evil adjacent'... And for the record, you have a long, long posting history here. Full of taking the side of those who stand against America. So, you can blah, blah, blah all you want, it's laughable.

The President of the United States signed an EO stating that this would happen, and the law exists to back him up. The Sec. of State has signed off in accordance with the law, and like it or not, this guy is outta here quicker than a bug hitting your windshield at 65 mph....Remember what you rubbed our faces with during the fake Trump trials, "No one is above the law" ... Remember that? So, here it is, and you not liking it now is of zero consequence...It is done...And my belief is that no activist judge, or bull shit argument from an anonymous internet loser is going to save him....

So we are just going to abandon the first amendment then. Okay.

The wheels of justice turn slowly... it does so purposely, to give all of us the right to defend ourselves against accusations made by our big govt, against us. We are all presumed innocent, until proven guilty. We can't pick and choose guilt or innocence PRIOR to that time, is a protection for ALL of us....

This man gets his due process and day in court and if proven to be a terrorist etc as claimed, then he will justly be deported.

As well it should be. Even if the support was just vocal support, and not really illegal. We are in a War on Terrorism as a nation.

If an alien was in America in 1943 vocally supporting Germany or Japan, they would be shown the door as well, wouldn't they?
We were in a declared war with Germany and Japan....

The USA is not fighting in a declared war against Hamas...so it is different than your example.

The first amendment doesn’t matter.

That’s Trump’s America.

That’s what you want?
I'll take that as an admission that you are finally realizing that this is totally legal....You can frame it however you wish, the truth of the matter is that we allow people from all over the world to come to our Universities, and colleges, under the understanding that they come here to do so without ulterior motives.

It is coming to light that this man was an organizer of these violent protests at Columbia, and Barnard colleges, and therefore if the Secretary of State deems him a threat to foreign policy, he is at that time a National Security threat.....

Now a hypothetical....Let's say this guy was hand picking students to radicalize behind the scenes of his organizing practices, and these recruits pulled off a terror attack that killed American citizens.

And let's say we knew about it, but did nothing because "due process" that you're screaming about now, but if an attack happened, are you seriously trying to tell us that you wouldn't be in here after finding that law, and hammering the administration for not taking advantage of it when they could have prevented this hypothetical attack?

If you say no, you're full of shit.

oh----ok you work on changing the policy
It may not have to be worked on in the sense of removing the SoS's authority. In all likelihood there is no such authority. trump is just claiming there is.

15th post
be patient----the matter will come before a judge. So far the CHARGES are not---as far as I know---
published. It's not going to be ---- "PALESTINIAN
ACTIVIST"
But The administration is now claiming that the State Department is proceeding pursuant to Section 237 (a)(4)(C) a rarely used provision of the law that gives the secretary of state the power to seek to deport "[a]n alien whose presence or activities in the United States the Secretary of State has reasonable ground to believe would have potentially serious adverse foreign policy

So how is the Secretary of State going to argue that Mr. Khalil right to protest is causing a "serious adverse foreign policy harm ?

Tons of conservatives are indeed accusing him of crimes, so is that just all bullshit?
Conservatives on a message board is not the definition of being accused of a crime....You're really stretching here...

I'm sorry, you're just not right on this one...It's ok, we've all been there.
So you’re telling me there’s a law that Congress passed that restricts the free speech of people.

Is that right?
