And yet Trump has been audited ever year for decades. Funny how suddenly he's a tax cheat now that his taxes are political.
So you never answered how you used to cheer for the rich with every Republican victory. Bam, the rich won another one! Why did you do that?
Actually, you never asked, but I've given pretty complete accounts of why I voted the way I did in the past.
1980 to 1992, I was affiliated with the military. Republicans were really good for the military.
1996- I was starting to catch on that Republicans didn't give a shit about working folks like me, but Clinton was such a sleaze I couldn't bring myself to vote for him.
2000 - Again, a reaction to Clinton... and to his credit, I really think George W. is a decent guy.
2008- last time I voted for a Republican candidate, and it had more to do with the fact that McCain had character. But by that time, it was pretty clear to me that the religious crazies had taken over the party. Like that point during the primaries when Romney and Huckabee were arguing over whether or not Jesus and Satan were brothers. (Which to me, is like arguing if Santa and the Easter Bunny are cousins).
2012 was the point of no return for me, because I really, really ******* hate Mormons. That the GOP was willing to be an organ of the Mormon Cult was the last straw for me, really.
