the high water pants were far to distracting!

but very cool stuff!

I bet the new Apple watch will have these functions.

I doubt the first generation one does. It's sounding like the iWatch is set up to run iOS on a flexible screen. Rumors a while back were that it would be Siri powered in a lot of its functionality.

I could see this being the future though of the device. This seems much more precise than Siri typically is.

The only thing that`s new is the application. Aside from that, this wristband is just another gesture device... like a fancier wireless mouse except that it uses pressure and motion sensitive switches but everything else is "samo" .. the same I/O ports and the same IRQ`s and the same BIOS as any run of the mill PC.
The downside is that yor PC might execute dumb stuff, like e-mailing your porn bookmarks to your girlfriend when you reach for a cup of coffee or swat a fly

Looks totally cool, but for old folks with limited finger use due to arthritis....I guess I'm shitouttaluck. But I loved looking at it!!

Here is an example of an installation at Johns Hopkins University that allows the user to display and manipulate images and datasets via gestures of their arms and their hands.

The developers are looking for suggestions for new applications. I've experimented with it, but no new applications for using it had occurred to me.:(
