I Vote We Don't Have Halftime Shows At The Super Bowl

The last one I liked was Katie Perry and her visually dazzling SB half-time show. Too much anger, victim hood, not enough fun.
U2s Halftime show to me was the most powerful as they listed all the names of the victims of the 9/11 attack. Damn that was powerful.

Looks like something you could see in Philly on the street corner.

I thought Prince preformed the best during a SB halftime.

But this mess is really boring.

What do you'all think?

I Vote People Like You Don't Watch Halftime Shows And STFU About them

Yep, it's kills the momentum of the game.

LOL....The most crowd pleasing halftime show I ever saw was at RFK when they brought out police K-9 dogs and had them attack "bad guys" in the protective suits.

We were entertained and to this day I don't remember who the Skins were playing but I remember the dogs.

I can't remember that.
The one that made the greatest impression on me was Prince playing Purple Rain in the rain.

That was horrible! A racist display in which only the favored race (blacks, 13% of the population) is featured in some unintelligible rant, and we are supposed to pretend that whites don’t exist.

No cussing and no nudity... I liked it... the dancing was special...
Not a hip hop guy but it was well done...

You know, I grew up in a household where my dad and I would go over to my buddies house and watch the Leafs game. When first intermission hit, they would mute the TV, turn on the stereo and play cards.

Really, what is the point of the halftime show? It's just a big marketing campaign 95% of the time. In fact, I think the acts have to pay to play, or they get paid very little as it's one massive audience to promote to.
