I remember when I first came here. I was online, searching for Dante's Inferno and the search brought me to USMB and Dante.

Then I found the Israel/Palestine forum and began posting in there and met Coyote. She introduced me to the flame zone... which, after six months, I hadn't even known existed.

In the flame zone, del introduced me to the fz ban hammer and banning from PM.

That's politics.

Now IMO, she'll make a good member and her extreme views will not be connected to the moderatorship of the forum. Poltics, remember?

And, America-wide?

Many leftists and Neocons are being given their walking papers. So, it's all to the good.

This is the first board I've ever used where the mods are also posters, which I think is perverse. You can be free to be honest with a poster if you know they don't have the hammer.

Oh, I always have been pretty free to be honest with what I think, and banning never changed that since if I'm not here, I'm someplace else.

That being said, I believe the arc of a moral universe bends towards justice... if one continues onward.

We are seeing that play out in America... in real-time.
