it's been awhile but I believe Day of the Jackal was excellent. I may rewatch it again, it was based on the true story of the French trying to assassinate their president.

Damn, does '86 really seem that old? TCM had one of my favorite Bogie/Bacall movies on the other day, "To have and have not" with Walter Brennan. An American fisherman battling sleazy Nazis in exotic Martinique.

I always wondered about the beginning. My thoiughts of Hannibal as having a great memory and being anal. It seems out of place him making a note in a book.
