Was a good series. Yankees were playing over their head and running on fumes, the better team won. I only rooted for the Yankees because of Judge and the young team that were underdogs.

Going to be rooting for Astros in the finals. SHould be a good series, the two best teams made it to the dance. I imagine another 7 game series.

Yankees had a great season and fought till the end

But only scoring three runs in four games at Houston doomed them

Not this Yankee fan. I'm done. Heartbroken.

Put up. Strike zone different for each team.

There were shit calls for both sides.
The Astros made the D plays where the Yankees didnt.

I still find it odd that Verlander sucked in Detroit and all of a sudden became Jesus the Savior in Houston.

And I got very tired of hearing that.

As far as the Yankees' defense, that didn't lose last night's game. Dead bats did.

Verlander found a team that had the game that could take him to the World Series,of course he played better.

As to why the Yankees lost in the end I'd say it was poor fielding and weak bats.

Poor fielding?

Weak bats, for sure.

That and some shoddy D.
Don't know what box scores you have been reading

Judge made an amazing catch

LOL..."an" amazing catch.
What about the one he missed that went over the wall? He totally misplayed it.
Then he dropped the ball trying to throw to home plate. Then he failed to step on second before returning to first.
He made all kinds of mistakes.

Yankee catcher mis-handled several throws to home that would have changed momentum.

Yankmees dominated 3 games at NY. I don't know why HOU did not show up at NY? Put a hold on any dynasty talk.

Not any more than they did in the regular season.

Plus they had Judge saving home runs.

Three outstanding defense plays in one game in NYC.

I guess you missed those.

Joe Buck was too busy lauding routine plays from Altuve (and they were) as masterpieces of fielding. NOT.

How about those strikeouts?
