Sheesh.....about time. Poultry was down....now I understand they have been dealing with bird flu....soooo. At the same time eggs went up a notch though.

Beef was down....some good sales.

I always watch the green peppers....they fluctuate wildly. Locally down to $1.99 from $2.99 last week. Produce down but still a bit pricey.

I expect Florida produce...Oranges, Orange juice will probably show the effects of the two storms.

The prices are going down locally because people can't afford to buy meat. The price is being yellow tagged to push them out before they spoil.

Used to be there was a shortage. Now there's too much because of a drop in the demand.

I was in Publix last week and I'm not paying $30 for an uncooked steak that has been on the refercase for several days.

Bell peppers looked terrible in our local Wally World a couple days ago.

I prefer buting from local Farmer Markets when it comes to veggies. Even Harris Teeter and Food Lion are trying to hold down prices But Meat, pultry and eggs are still high. ;ocal sweet potato's are still cheap.
Salted peanuts anyone?

SMH, I spent 40+ years in the CA central valley and got spoiled with all of the great, fresh fruits and vegetables. Moved to the northern tier ten years ago and the fresh fruits and vegetables are about the only thing I miss.

(Eggs) I need to eat tons of them for protein for my albumin, (kidney does not produce albumin) and they want me to eat a lot of protein but I can never afford the meat prices.

I like to joke that I’ve become much stronger since Biden took over: I used to have to make two trips from the car to bring in $100 of groceries, and now I can do it in one trip, easy.
Are you broke? Maybe you qualify for an EBT card. Check into it. It might help you out in your difficult time.
