I was into ceramics as a teenager and into my 20's.
I still love them, but most all the ceramic places have been long gone out of business.
And even with the ones I'm willing to drive an hour to, to get to them, the prices are outragious now.

I miss ceramics. They were fun and I could be as artsy fartsy as I wanted to be with them.

They also made really nice, personal gifts for people.

Yet one more thing from our past that's gone away and will never come back. This isn't the same country it once was.

I'm guessing Hobby Lobby and Michael's watered it down a lot.

.

I've done a little bit of ceramics, and can feel your pain. What a beautiful hobby!

If I decided to get back into it, there is one pottery supply outlet about 25 miles from me.
